Catch some Organised Fun at a conference this Summer
Summer is famed in the HE world as conference season and we’re excited to be popping up at some brilliant events, so we thought we’d share them here…
SU Digital 6-10 July 2026
Jamie Robinson & Rosie Hunnam will talk about Safe Adventures - what we've learnt about student group safety with an overview session for anyone who hasn’t engaged with this work yet.
Membership Services Conference 12 & 13 August 2026
We’ve got a few sessions, kicking off with 'What’s Going on in Student Opportunities?’ looking back and forward at trends in opportunities and what to expect for 2027. We’re also joined by Tom Morrisey (Swansea University Students’ Union), Jacob Webb (Undeb Aber) and Hannah Templeman (NTSU and Organised Fun) to cover academic communities. Rosie will also debate with Alan Roberts about the merits of academic societies and how we could get rid of course reps. Finally, Jamie and Rosie will deep dive into student group safety with a review and workshop session. And, of course, we’ll be bringing badges!
RAISE Conference 9 & 10 September 2026
Rosie recorded a podcast with Jacob Webb (Undeb Aber), Kate Woodward (Aberystwyth University) & Cari Davies (student staff, Undeb Aber). The podcast explored reflections on the Welsh Academic Communities Experiment.
