New Risky Business Cohorts Announced for 2026!

We’re so excited to announce two new 2026 cohorts of Risky Business: Risk Management in Student Opportunities - and this time we’re heading to London and Liverpool!

Why Risky Business?

This training is for those new to student opportunities, or supporting student groups. This is a time when risk management can feel really overwhelming - but it doesn’t have to be! 

Across two practical, interactive days, we’ll cover:

  • The Basics – Understand what risk management is and how to apply it.

  • Systems & Responsibility – Learn where responsibility for risk lies within your students' union and university, and how to navigate it.

  • Student Engagement – Discover ways to make risk management engaging and accessible to students, ensuring they take it seriously.

It’s been wonderful to hear stories from previous cohorts. Attendees consistently tell us that the content is engaging and informative, helping them to feel more confident in their roles. 

We’re so energised by stories of participants leaving with stronger knowledge, greater confidence, and a network of peers who understand the challenges (and joys!) of this work.
