📢 Announcement: Pause of National Societies and Volunteering Awards for the 2024 Academic Year 📢

In 2023 Organised Fun partnered with Student Hubs to deliver the awards programme and since the awards party in May 2023 we’ve been working together to make plans for the NSVAs 2024. After careful consideration we have made the decision to temporarily pause the National Societies and Volunteering Awards for the current academic year. This decision was not made lightly, and we understand the significance of these awards in recognizing the outstanding contributions of individuals and groups within the student volunteering, social action and societies community.

Putting on a high quality, impactful awards programme is important to us, and as small organisations, Student Hubs and Organised Fun have to consider the best way to achieve this. Over the 4 years of running the NSVAs it’s grown from a digital ‘lockdown’ live stream with around 100 nominations to a bigger event with over 400 nominations. We love how important the awards are to everyone but we believe that taking a brief hiatus from the awards will allow us to address challenges with scale, and continue to recognise your work and volunteering in the most impactful way.

Organised Fun & Student Hubs are committed to supporting and celebrating student volunteering and societies. Although the awards are paused for this academic year, we encourage you to continue with your dedication to excellence, innovation, and service. We look forward to resuming the awards in the following academic year with renewed energy and enthusiasm.

We value the support of all sponsors and partners over the 4 years of the NSVAs and encourage you to stay connected. If you’re an organisation we haven’t worked with and have interest in this space, please contact us

Stay engaged in the NSVAs programme and sign up to our mailing list. We’d also value your thoughts and have made a short survey to capture your feedback.
